Isaac Joins HWA As Affiliate Writer

On Nov. 9, 2019, Isaac Thorne announced that has officially joined the Horror Writers Association as an Affiliate member. The HWA is a non-profit organization comprised of horror creators who share a love of and the desire to promote dark literature.

“Joining the HWA became a goal for me way back in the 1990s when I first started submitting horror stories to magazines by way of Novel & Short Story Writers Market,” Isaac says. “I submitted here and there over the years and netted a few sales, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that I seriously started to consider joining again.

“I feel fortunate to have finally realized this goal,” he adds. “Electronic submission processes and the fact that self-publishing is both an easy and more accepted way of spreading the horror these days both contributed to getting me this membership.”

The HWA is also responsible for the prestigious Bram Stoker Awardsยฎ and the annual StokerCon convention.
