Cover Revealed for Isaac Thorne’s New Novel

Horror author Isaac Thorne dropped the cover for his forthcoming new psychological thriller Tab’s Terrible Third Eye. The novel, which also contains strong elements of supernatural horror, arrives on sale in hardback, paperback, and ebook formats on Jan. 28, 2025. The new cover appears below:

Front cover of Tab's Terrible Third Eye featuring a man with gored-out eyes screaming into the ear of a young blonde boy who stares straight ahead. In minature below these figures are three more: a woman with two boys on either side of her.

Tab’s Terrible Third Eye is a return to my fictional Tennessee small town of Lost Hollow,” Isaac says. “I’m far from done with the place. Folks who have read my previous novels and some specific short stories will rediscover some familiar characters. The new cover was designed by the same person who did The Gordon PlaceHell Spring, and most of my other covers. I think it’s a great representation of the story.

“I’m excited about this one,” he adds. “There are personal elements in all my books and stories, I’m sure. But this one is definitely my most personal.”

Tab’s Terrible Third Eye will be available for sale at most book-selling platforms on Jan. 28, 2025. Pre-orders and advance reader copies (ARCs) should become available before the end of summer 2024. The synopsis appears below:

Nine-year-old Tab is an artist harboring fears and anxieties that he soothes by drawing. After an encounter with an otherworldly creature, an angry bump afflicts his left temple. The wound burns and itches but will not heal. Worse, it summons ghosts.

Soon, Tab’s art portends real-life disasters like his father’s death. He becomes convinced his bump—his third eye—causes bad things.

Will he be able to control this power before it takes another life? Can he free himself from the ghost, who is determined to use that power to untold ends?

The answers lie in the secrets revealed by Tab’s terrible third eye.
