Horror author Isaac Thorne is scheduled to appear as a vendor at AuthorCon IV in St. Louis, MO Oct. 4 through6, 2024. AuthorCon is an author and reader-centric convention that benefits Scares That Care, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Scares That Care has in the past raised funds for children with illnesses, burn victims, and women afflicted with breast cancer. “This is my first AuthorCon,” Isaac says. “I’m excited to finally be a part of it. St. Louis is a closer commute for me than AuthorCon’s usual location in Virgina, so when tables became available for sale there I jumped at the chance.”
Originally, Isaac planned to attend with his usual tabling partner and cover designer Ellezor. However, Ellezor will not be able to make her appearance this time around. “I will have some of her horror and fantasy-themed coloring books available for sale at the table, though,” Isaac says. “I’ll also have some of her Belles Dames Tarot sets available. It’s a unique deck of the 22 major arcana tarot completely reimagined as women.”
In addition to Ellezor’s work, his previous novels, and his short story collection, Isaac will have a limited number of his newest novel on-hand. Tab’s Terrible Third Eye is not scheduled for release until Jan. 28, 2025, so anyone who buys a copy at AuthorCon IV will be receiving it well before the general public.
