Isaac recently appeared on a summer special of humor podcast The Rob and Slim Show. The summer special was a benefit episode for Rob’s father, who suffered a recent motorcycle accident. The show launched a GoFundMe to help pay Rob’s dad’s bills while he heals. You can still donate to the GoFundMe if you want to help.
“Rob and Slim have been really good to me over the years,” Isaac says. “They were one of my earliest podcast appearances, and have been fantastic supporters of my work. As a rider myself, I know how dangerous the roads can be. Wildlife, weather, and other drivers are all more hazardous when you’re on a bike. I’m hoping Rob’s dad heals well.”
As part of his segment on the show, Isaac read an excerpt from his short tale of dark comic horror Bedside Manner. The story is available as a standalone ebook and audiobook. It is also available as part of Isaac’s Road Kills collection in paperback. An audiobook version of Road Kills will be available soon.
