The Gordon Place Is Available Now

Isaac Thorne’s New Horror Novel Released To Great Reviews

Isaac Thorne’s terrifying new novel The Gordon Place is now available in ebook, paperback, and hardback formats from independent booksellers, Amazon.com, and other retailers. Copies can also be purchased directly from Isaac Thorne and Lost Hollow Books by visiting www.isaacthorne.com/gordon-place.

“I am absolutely thrilled to finally be releasing this story to the general public,” Thorne says. “It’s been available for pre-order for about a month now, and it’s gotten some pretty good reviews from some damn thoughtful reviewers so far. I hope the reading public will love visiting the little town of Lost Hollow as much as I loved writing about it.”

Among the pre-release reviews are five-stars from Yeti of TN Horror News, Drew Rowsome of My Gay Toronto Magazine, and Anne-Marie Reynolds of Readers’ Favorites. Steve Stred of Kendall Reviews gave it four stars and stated, in part, “Thorne has some serious writing chops and every time I jumped back into The Gordon Place, I was easily whisked away to Lost Hollow.”

The Gordon Place is set in the small fictional Tennessee town of Lost Hollow, where Graham Gordon has recently been elected town constable. When rumors reach his ears about kids hearing screams coming from inside his abandoned childhood home, Graham decides to investigate. In the process, he becomes trapped in the dark and empty cellar.

Meanwhile, Channel 6 News feature reporter Afia Aftonโ€”whose father is the victim of a local decades-old hate crimeโ€”is meeting with town administrator Patsy Blankenship. Her mission is to develop a ghost story feature for a special to air on the station’s Halloween broadcast. When Patsy tells her about the screams at the Gordon place, the past and the present are set on a collision course with potentially catastrophic results.

Itโ€™s a fight for the future and the past when spirit and flesh wage war at the Gordon place.

Isaac Thorne is an independent horror author who has previously published a collection of dark comic horror short stories titled Road Kills.
